Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway

This railway operates a daily service between Haverthwaite and Lakeside at the southern tip of Lake Windermere. Comfortable coaches will take you on a scenic journey through the beautiful Leven Valley - the perfect way to while away an afternoon.

Lakeland Motor Museum

Less than a 10-minute drive from Buck Yeats Lodge Park is The Lakeland Motor Museum. It is home to a diverse and unique collection of some 30,000 exhibits, and also has a gift shop and café in a beautiful riverside setting.

Windermere Lake Cruises

Windermere Lake Cruise depart from the Fell Foot Ferry Pier at Lakeside, just a 5-minute walk from Buck Yeats Lodge Park. As well as enabling you to discover more about the Park's largest lake, this hop-on hop-off ferry service links to some of the most popular Lakeland towns and visitor attractions including Bowness and the Haverthwaite Steam Railway.

Lakes Aquarium

This award-winning aquarium is home to a fascinating array of life found in and around the Lakes. It's also only a 5-minute drive from Buck Yeats Lodge Park.

Ullswater 'Steamers'

Ullswater ‘Steamers’ is an award-winning, environmentally accredited attraction that is celebrating over 150 years of operating cruises on England’s most beautiful lake. Cruises connect to some of the most famous walking routes, including the Ullswater Way and the famous William Wordsworth daffodils at Glencoyne Bay.

Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway

The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway is one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways in England. The journey begins at the only coastal village in the Lake District National Park, Ravenglass, and will take you across the estuary, through the hills to Dalegarth for Boot Station.
